=Lit-Twitter enters its fourth month of service and has made over 1000 tweets as of Mei 16th!




There's been some baton-passing recently, as clubs move from owner to owner. Hopefully, It'll all work out for the best:

`ATrue has taken the reigns of *ProsePlease Now it will be working even closer with its sister club, =PoetryPlease through a new bridge, ~LITplease
~darknessversuslight hands over ownership of ~100ThemeWriters to ~Mabak
Most recently, founder =VertigoArt has retired, leaving *DailyLitDeviations in =CaronCecilia's capable hands.

The 8th issue of Soundzine is out, featuring the great three "P": poetry, prose and photography! Show the article some love or just go straight to their website.

`ATrue's went through a slight experimental phase with The Lit List, but has decided to keep the format as is. With new news and classic good looks is the Lit List's 28th edition

The very creative (and still mad) *RalfMaximus continues to give great daily prompts (on most days). Definitely keep track of him if you ever feel the old block creeping up on you.

Community

The June 2009 Deviousness Award goes to `Norke. Always providing motivational critiques, as well as resourceful journals and comments, it's no surprise that this deviant is also heavily involved in heading up exhibitions and devmeets with other deviants. A well deserving recipient indeed.

Recently published:

Haiku poet, Dick Whyte of ~SOLARTS had his poetry published in multiple haiku magazines. Most of them are available online, so check it out in this journal.

=Adeimantus was published in two different magazines recently, 322 Review and Chimera.

And for those looking to splunk through some heavy literature discussion, `GeneratingHype asks "Have you noticed (are noticing) a shift in literature--either in the way we view it, or in the way we write it (not simply with the help of technology, but a subtle change in style, content, etc.)?
