This contest is about recipes and memories. Id like to see a real, tested-by-you recipe (if borrowed or handed down, please give appropriate credit to the chef, but you must have either tasted it or prepared it yourself) and a piece of creative non-fiction describing a memory or experience relating to preparing or eating the recipe or its key ingredient.

This feature was brought to you by the request of one of my watchers! It is also to bring to your attention a second contest I'm running, called "To Sea a Whale".
Contest Rules: No more than 2 entries per person please! CATEGORIES AVAILABLE: Traditional art, digital art (photomanipulations included!), photography. You may enter multiple categories. Any kind of whale is allowed in this competition! You MUST note me with your entry, with the title "whale competition". If you wish to donate a prize, please let me know! HINT! If you make an interesting story or poem to go with your deviation, it may make for a better entry!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
