I am officially announcing my first contest.

Prizes are still pending.
I am looking for features to be donated

This is when I ask you to think about what issue has most greatly impacted your life, or which one is the one that you find is hidden, shunned, ignored.

Is it a disease? A disability?
A war? An emotion?
A crime?

I recently made a deviation, a piece of visual poetry and I found it quite soothing to make something personal but distant, not only for myself, but for a cause. I won't link here because you should be able to come up with your own awesome ideas

So this is my challenge to you.
What is your cause? What are you fighting for? What needs fighting for? Why?

It can be small, it can be big.

I don’t want to say too much, I’ll leave you to find your own ideas

Submission Guidelines:

Visual Poetry/Poster/Image/Collage
(anything goes but I want it to be an image format, even if its just words typed on a plain background, so that all the lazy ones see something when it’s featured, this challenges our poets and photographers and visual artists to cross boundaries and compete with each other on an tougher playing field. Also I want this all to be art that can catch our eye, to support your “cause” )

I want them all to be recent deviations. Submitted after this contest was announced or in the few weeks before it. (Just because I think it's cruel if you just submitted something and then a contest pops up the next day and ...... well it fits perfectly but you can't submit it because it's 'old' )

I will put ALL the features in my journal and in a news article.
Also, I am asking for people volunteer to feature the six main winners.

I may need people to help me judge, depending on how many entries I get... I will recruit judges if I get overwhelmed.

Also I welcome any features and prize donations.
