Hello again, everyone! Despite exams starting in two days (

), Im back with another ten Non-Subscribing Deviants for you to help out. My message this week is that, even if you think you're really busy, try to take the time to give feedback to someone! Heck, if I can take time away from study to bring this Issue to you all, I reckon some of you can help out too

. So, welcome to
Critique for Non-Subscribers; Issue 5!
Issue 4
Issue 3
Issue 2
Issue 1What is your task? The point of this entire project is to get you, subscribers and non-subscribers alike, to use the general comment system to leave some
good (thoughtful and in-depth), honest critiques on some of the following pieces (this could be as many as all of them or as few as just one! All that matters is getting great feedback for the overlooked non-subscribers!), or even to just encourage critiquing those who dont have access to the Critique Feature.
The Features (in no particular order):

Why arent I offering my services as a critic? If I were to do that, I would have to limit this to deviants who only do a few select things (for example, photography), because I'm simply not qualified to critique everything that people want feedback on. With this idea, theres a range of art available to be critiqued and the entire community in which to find someone able to be a critic for other mediums (such as literature, traditional/digital art, and so on).
So, feel free to browse the Features, and if youre inspired to give some great feedback, please do! And if youre not sure that you can critique anything from this issue, dont overlook the previous issues. This Project will be back next week with another 10 Deviants! If you'd like to be included in an upcoming Issue, feel free to note me (with the subject 'Critique for Non-Subscribers' and including a link/thumbs of two (2) of your deviations youd like feedback on) or check my journal for links to my current Thumbshare thread. Please be aware that this is not intended to generate argument for or against the Critique Feature! This is intended to assist the overlooked artists who are as deserving as anyone else to receive comments designed to improve their work.

But you, well that's another story entirely." ~IIIXII
I believe it should not be a paid-for option, where legitimate input can (and should) be posted on anyone's work regardless of subscription. Why comment on any work then?
The reason for commenting on work at all is that not everyone wants critique. Some people might not want everything they've done to be scrutinized, which is only fair.
I hope that makes sense, or addresses some of the concerns I feel like you're bringing up.

I understand what this project is about.
I know that not everyone wants constructive criticism, that's their problem.
But it's OK, obviously you misread what I said.
Honestly, i think this is a great little project "Critique for Non-Subscribers". Maybe add more people to the list next time.
