Welcome to the green room! Have you ever been green with envy? Speaking of which, do you know what a green-eyed monster is. No? Then do you like the band Green Day? The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence, isn't it? Perhaps the neighbour has a green thumb. Need a greenback? Or maybe you just like the colour green?


The colour green, colour of mother nature, means life, growth and health. It is said to be a symbol of self-respect and the colour of Friday. On the bad side it stands for jealousy or envy and is associated with sickness.
Green is a mix of the colours yellow and blue and designates balance, harmony, and stability.

But most of all I just think it's a very cheerful colour.





I think we all need some colour in our lives, which led me to the idea of writing news articles about the colours of the rainbow, of which Green is the third colour I will discuss. So I collected artworks from my favourites which contain this great colour.
