The promotion of certain behaviour among societies is a common practice, "this society dress in a way, eat certain types of food, develops some manners according to their own perception of normality, and even the sexes develop some roles".
A clear example of this that I used to have a macroeconimics teacher from Perú who thought that Huitlacoche (A type of fungus from the corn, very delicious and a gourmet food in México) was gross and refered at it like: a food they only give to pigs in his country.
I was at first I was sort of comprehensive with his position, but then something jumped out of my mind... the word PIG.
Another example is recent... the discrimination Méxican people is suffering from the AH1N1 flu virus. I never realized that maybe Asian people suffered the same from the Bird Flu.

Why is people always finding a way to point to someone that's different in some way?

Misogyny, Homophobia, Violence, Religious differences, and so on. Understanding people postures and beliefs is not an issue of changing you mind to the way they think. It's more like a education, respect, and tolerance issue.

This selection of deviations was chosen to invite the viewers to respect eachother. There's no reason for wars, murders and crimes based on hate and intolerance. My last words are taken from someone else, I find this phrase so true and inspiring:
