Introduction

Too often do I see deviations with less than 10 comments, or even 5 comments. Deviants litter deviations with statements like "Cool" or "Great piece" which benefits no one. Even worse is the fact that when I have a browse around, some pieces have about 10 or more but absolutely no comments whatsoever. People just do a and run.

True, we all appreciate . It shows that what you’ve produced is liked by someone, most of the time. However, it hurts absolutely no one to post a comment about 1-2 sentences long stating why you like it.

Project Comment aims to change that.

Our objective is to recognise those deviants who are towed under, who are obscured, and who deserve the exposure. We aim to highlight deviations with less than 10 original comments so that they don’t have to be shadowed any longer. Project Comment hopes to make a great difference, but we can’t do it without you.

How you can help

As with every project, we need volunteers to get stuck into the project and we also need plenty of supporters.

Staff
To share the workload and make this project really be something, we need volunteers that are willing to be staff to be in charge of a category or a sub-category. Every category of art is open for more staff. Not only do we need staff for the well known ones such as digital art, photography, traditional art etc. but we also need ones for lesser known such as artisan crafts, customization, fanart and so on. Continued support by our news articles, spreading the word about this project and commenting on the featured deviations is appreciated! By doing your bit in this project, you can really make a difference, even if it is just our articles every week. Everyone can support us in some shape or form.


Suggesters
Of course, this project will not exist if it weren’t for deviants suggesting other deviants and deviations. We accept every suggestion following the guidelines of:

1. Less than 5 original comments, the piece has to be 1 week old or older.
2. Between 6-10 original comments, the piece has to be 3 weeks old or older.
