Um, about second point in rule no.2:
- Digitally enhancing the drawing is acceptable
(adding textures, backgrounds, layers, whatever) but please label them as such (mixed media).

I remember that when I first joined dA the mixed media category WAS NOT meant for a mixture of digital and traditional art. (One of my deviations had been moved because it was in that category and it wasn't supposed to be.)

That category was (at least then) meant for a mixture of various traditional media the most, like for instance watercolors and colored pencils.

If in your work you used both traditional as well as digital media, you had to decide whether there was more traditional or more digital media in it, and put it in either traditional or digital category.

Has this been changed in the meantime? 'Cause I'd hate to have my deviations moved again.

Well as far as I am aware Mixed media can be a mixture of traditional and digital, that's where I have always placed my art work. Works that started out as traditional on paper and then were re-worked in psp. I placed them in mixed media.

In regards to this contest, I have copy and pasted the deviant's rules from their journal, as I am helping support and promote this particular contest.
