Eye Drawing Contest!!

What can I enter?
You can enter any traditional or digital drawing of an eye(s). Your work can be made using the medium of your choice (graphite, charcoal, pastels, colored pencils, ink, paint, markers, any digital painting program, etc.) I’m sorry, but I’ve decided to not do photomanips for this one Although I would have loved to, the categories are too different. Your entry must be made within the timeframe of May 9th-July 11th, meaning it must be a new deviation. It can’t be a cropped version of an old work. You may enter up to 2 entries.

What kind of eye can I draw?
The drawing can be of any type of eye e.g. a human eye, an animal eye, or whatever else you can think of. It can be of both eyes or just one, whatever you prefer.

Do I need to draw the eye in any particular style?
No, you are free to choose the style in which you draw it. You can draw in whatever style you want- realistic, creative, colorful, anime, just crazy, etc… You are only limited by your imagination.

May I use photo references?
Of course, just give credit for any stock used.

How do I submit my entry?
Please put : icongabbyd70 : (without the spaces) or a link to this journal in your "Artists Comments" and then note me with a link to your eye drawing.
~Also, do not enter unfinished pieces. Once I have them in the entries journal, they are very difficult to update so please send me only finished works.

How will the entries be judged?
Entries will be judged on the overall appearance of the piece and how you used your talents, skills, and abilities.

When is the deadline?
The contest opens May 9th and closes July 11th.
