Now during my time here on dA since I've gotten "back into the game". I've come to realize there isn't too much noticed work from the military side of the board. And I just wanted to show my appreciation to my brothers in arms not only for their service, but also for capturing what is really going on from their perspective. Not something the mainstream media has gotten their hands on and twisted.

Ladies and Gentlemen, from where I am in country (Iraq) right now I'll have you know. For the most part all of the attacks and bombings have come very close to stopping. I've been working with Iraqi Security Forces, Iraqi Police and Iraqi Army, or not going out at all. What I mean by that is; We really aren't going out as "American Troops" in our area, we're simply going out to re-enforce the local forces. And to help them learn the proper way of doing things. The area I'm in used to be the most disastrous and violent area's in Iraq. Now I have children come up to me and remember my first name from weeks ago. It's a beautiful site to see.

I'm not here to start a political debate. So please don't try to take it that way. I just want to show you were I'm coming from and the idea of this news feature.

Anyhow, these are just a few of many. I just wanted to voice my thanks and appreciation for these fine men and women. And I hope others do the same.
