In this article i want to show some works of artists, that are on their hard step of beginning and, of course, of becoming better. So please take a look and share you'r impression with them! Thank you!
Did anyone call for a mixture of DD-worthy pics of smoke beasts, magical pastries, intergalactic voodoo, & evil televisions, among other things? No? Well, you're getting one anyway, so you may as well come on in & check it out!
if you think that this news is pointless and dA is not about popularity or pageviews then please leave. i myself am not saying that it is about popularity or pageviews. i am just here to report on how to get around, get noticed. thank you.

welcome to dA!
this depends on how far all the artist here have came to be. some this may be their first day. some this may be their fifth year. etc, etc. but i will start from the veryyyy beginning so everybody can get a full understanding. and you may benefit from it. you never know. so here we start.
-----
YOUR BEST ARTWORK ONLY
you created your account. whether you do photography, digital art, traditional, or literature. there is always one element that keeps you and your soon to be watchers going. only submit your best work. from the small year i have been here, i have watched the successful artist achieve their thousands of favorites. because they didn't submit their ahhh, i kind of like it. not so much. they submitted their absolute best. when doing this - you keep the watchers from asking themselves i like this one but i don't like the outtakes they submitted, they're not THAT well. ill just keep an eye open for them. i wont watch them.
----
RELEASE DATES FOR YOUR DEVIATIONS
when submitting your best artwork their is a certain way for getting more anticipation/views. even when you are the best of the best or very high experienced. you dont want to choke your watchers. submitting should be a week apart at the minimum. when you add a deviation - they want more. take =INeedChemicalX for example. she submits her work. lets it get all the favorites and comments it deserves. and once it dies out (stops getting alarming favorites in so and so hours). she submits another appealing piece in a week or so. if you wait too long to submit then you should take them by surprise and. take a long time for a really good piece. and if you dont, write a journal and keep them updated. we'll talk about that in the next section.
--
JOURNAL ENTRIES TO SHOW YOU CARE
having a weekly journal shows that you care, updates your work, updates your personal life, and sometimes interact with your watchers. take =Miss-Deathwish for example. she keeps a weekly journal with inspiration, features and personal life. when strangers come on to her page they know that she cares about her /watchers/ and is currently active. when you dont submit regularly and still want to keep some 'rep, stay on top' then tell them why you're not doing it. or at least give a last goodbye if you're quitting.

ENTER MY CHATROOMZZ
the chatroom homepage. this is a great way to interact with artist like you and talk about the struggles and positives. and here are some great chatrooms to checkout:
once you create a bond with strangers. and become friends. its easier for them to support and lookout for your artwork. it also helps you gain more critique/social skills. plus its a great way when you're having a bad day and you have your dA friends when you come back home
--
BUT IM NOT GAINING ANY CRITIQUES/COMMENTS D:<
you dont need it. they need it. once you start roaming around and commenting on deviations. you get a sense in your medium. if you see some artwork that you dont like the way the lighting was you can apply that to your artwork and say -i remember that looked bad- and dont just do it for yourself. to the artist as well. the average critique comment: what you like. what you didnt like. how they can become better. it helps them and you. and remember to always comment/favorite if you like it. commenting helps you market yourself there too.

JOIN A CONTESTTTT
this gains you more exposure and tackles what you usually do. usually restricting to some rules or interpreting this or this. you also get prizes -- its also fun. just search 'contests' in the news section.

--
COMMENT NEW WORK, NOT POPULAR
its alright to comment popular work, but if you want someone to talk to/interact, they'll probably be too busy to respond. so make yourself useful and critique and the critqueable, people who want deviation responses. heck! they might comment your own deviations too ;D click here for the new critique submitted
