Summer Skies Contest
Theme: it's self explanatory: summer and the sky are the main themes
End date: July 20th
Entries accepted after May 20th
Anyone can enter. but only members can become admin for final judging (see below)
Send a note to the club with "Summer Skies" as the subject, and a LINK to or a THUMBNAIL of the photograph in the note itself
The subject MUST be summer and the sky. We are a SKY CLUB, so no pictures of fish. it's okay if the sky is a reflection, like off of a lake or the ocean. Night shots are fine.
NO MORE THEN TWO ENTRIES PER MEMBER
you must be the owner, not distributer, of the photograph
Old deviations are accepted
Stock is not accepted. You must use your own work
manipulations are okay
Please read the contest journal updates regularly for rules, instructions and new added entries and prizes.
it can be flash, manipulations, photographs, anything you can think of
you will be judged based on creativity
judges will not be announced until the end of the contest, expect for the obvious judges (admin). there will be at least five judges total

Judging
you will be judged based on creativity
you cannot be a judge if you enter.
if we have a subscription, we will have three rounds of judging (see below)
If a admin doesn't enter the contest, they can be a judge
any member is eligable to be picked as a judge after the contest is over if they didn't enter

How the winner will be decided and announced
there will be three rounds of judging:
Round One
Members will place a comment saying "vote" on the deviation they want to vote for. There is a limit of one vote per deviant. Judges can vote on this round also. Even if you entered, you are still able to vote.
DO NOT VOTE FOR YOURSELF
Round one will last from July 25 to July 31.
Round Two
the top five most voted on deviations will be placed on a poll, where deviants will be allowed to vote a second time. voting is open to EVERYBODY.
You can vote for yourself.
Round Two will last from August 3 to August 11.
Round Three
the top three deviations will be voted on by the judges. They will send a note to a account made for this purpose, so that they are not passed by in organizing the other notes the club recieves. This will decide the first place and runner-up.
The final round of judging will start August 12 amd end August 18.
