Show and Tell - Worldwide Deviant "meetup"

reports, June 15I was thinking about it the other day, and it occurred to me that although I have so many friends on this site and so many people I admire, I don't know what half of you sound like or even look like! And so many of you are so far away that I fear our paths may never cross. I talked to some other deviants about this, and they too found it sad that they don't know all of their watchers as well as they would like.
I thought it would be fun if we all got together and posted videos as a way to introduce ourselves to those we may never get to meet in real life! Kind of like a little mini deviant meet up, but for everyone, everywhere!
Of course, if you do not have a way to record yourself, you are encouraged to answer some of the topics (or your own introduction) in a journal entry, and post a self-portrait if possible. You too will be included in the final collection, just follow the steps I've listed for the video folks, except post your journal link instead.
I'd love to see your introduction no matter when you make it,
but I'll accept them until Saturday, June 27th. In early July I will post a news article with collections to all the links and a small bio before your link.

So what should you do now?
Record a video, make it fancy, make it lo-fi, make it stop-motion, make it however you would like to introduce yourself to your fellow deviants!
You don't even have to talk! You could even wear a mask, if that's what you'd really like to do.
Next, upload it to YouTube or Flickr, just somewhere the video will stay permanent. You are encouraged to post it into your journal with a link to this article - then maybe more of your watchers will be inclined to do it, as well and you can get to know each other!
After you've uploaded, send a note to me, nerdynotdirty, with a link to your video. Also, PLEASE include your name, age, preferred art medium, and any random fact about yourself so that those reading will know what they are going to see before your link.
I will review videos and will not include any obscene videos (that means bad language) or anything that is only available for 18+ in the article, we want EVERYONE on this site to be able to meet you through your video (that includes everyone under 18!) Please also be careful on what information you give out, we just want to know a little more about you and your personality, not personal things your address/social security number/blood type.
Please don't upload these to the video category on here if you have that privilege, lets keep that for the art work!
Make sure you NOTE them to me (preferably entitled "show and tell video" or I can't promise anyone will see them on the final collection!
Also, for the sake of being able to watch all the videos, try to keep yours at 5 minutes or under!
