Project Comment: 0-5 Comments // Issue 40

*ProjectComment:iconProjectComment: reports, 1d 12h ago
Project Comment is a project that features the generally obscured and underappreciated artists and their art in regular news articles. Our objective is to recognise deviants who deserve more recognition and to feature deviations with less than 10 original comments.

The 0-5 Comments Issues feature a deviant as well as 3 deviations with less than 5 original comments from a wide selection of art. Please give your time to :+favlove: this article and to write constructive comments so that you make a true difference to the artists featured here.

Holiday Wish List Project of 2009

=nayruasukei:iconnayruasukei: reports, November 15
On deviantART for the past 3 years (if not longer), the Holiday Wish List Project has shown deviants that we are a family, and even without directly knowing one another we can share happiness. Without spending a penny, you can make someone's holiday who may not have one otherwise.

The PhotoLit Prompt

=echelon-maniac:iconechelon-maniac: reports, June 16
Every so often in writing, I find that working on a prompt is a challenging and fun way to develop skills, entertain myself, and even inspire longer pieces.

As a writer and as one who frequents the site, I try to encourage other's talents in language, and what better way to do that than to create innovative and challenging prompts?

Recently, ~AO-Photography recommended an idea which I have recently adapted and now am bringing to you the deviants.

The PhotoLit Prompt, as its title suggests, is designed to inspire both literature and photography. The design of the prompt is to use a selection of photography to inspire original literature and a selection literature to inspire original photography, and that's where you the reader can help.

If you have photography or literature which you would like to be used for inspiration in this prompt send me a note with PROMPT INSPIRATION with the title of your piece and a link.

Aside from that, I'm also looking for those who could donate to the cause. While it's not a contest, the prompt is meant to promote both mediums of art, and you can do just that by :+favlove:ing this article and featuring the participants in your journal.

If you have any questions or would like to be a part of this project in any way, send me a note.

Otherwise, happy writing and happy shooting,
Zach.

:iconnonculture:
I would be happy to write an accompanying literature piece to a photgraph, or vice versa. A picture is worth a thousand words and all that. It's been a while since one of these contests came up. Prize is not important, I'll participate if you get sufficient artists/photographers.

I'd be happy to contribute on either side as well. Let me know what I should do.

If you have pieces [literature or photography] that you'd like to be used as inspiration, send me a note with a link to the deviations.

Thanks for your support. :D

This is a really great idea! While I'm not much of a photographer, I may be able to contribute some literature for the cause! :)

I agree with `nonculture. I'd love to write something for a photograph, or submit an inspiring bit of lit. :D

Are you looking for anything in particular with regards to the lit prompts?

This sounds like a lot of fun. I'd love to try and write some poetry inspired by photographs :aww:
