Every so often in writing, I find that working on a prompt is a challenging and fun way to develop skills, entertain myself, and even inspire longer pieces.
As a writer and as one who frequents the site, I try to encourage other's talents in language, and what better way to do that than to create innovative and challenging prompts?
Recently, ~
AO-Photography recommended an idea which I have recently adapted and now am bringing to you the deviants.
The PhotoLit Prompt, as its title suggests, is designed to inspire both literature and photography. The design of the prompt is to use a selection of photography to inspire original literature and a selection literature to inspire original photography, and that's where you the reader can help.
If you have photography or literature which you would like to be used for inspiration in this prompt send me a note with PROMPT INSPIRATION with the title of your piece and a link.
Aside from that, I'm also looking for those who could donate to the cause. While it's not a contest, the prompt is meant to promote both mediums of art, and you can do just that by

ing this article and featuring the participants in your journal.
If you have any questions or would like to be a part of this project in any way, send me a note.
Otherwise, happy writing and happy shooting,
Zach.
