Welcome to the Global Warming Initiative contest.

Your objective: create a visual piece (such as a poster, or a photomanip) that shows an innovative way to slow down or stop global warming.
For example, you may have thought of a way to take carbon out of the atmosphere.

Deadline: August 31, 2009 [extensions possible].

Rules:
Only two entries per person

You may use an idea that already exists IF you credit the person who had the idea! Art must be your own. If you are found to be taking the idea without crediting the source, you will be automatically disqualified.

Visual art of any category on deviantART is accepted.
Ideas for entries may be:
-A promotional poster
-A drawing or photomanipulation of the idea
-A comic strip
-A booklet (photograph each of its pages clearly)

Your deviation must include an explanation in the Artist's Comments. Please link to this contest in the comments as well.

Judging: Judges needed! You will judge entries based on: originality of idea and design. Other factors that may be considered but are not important are: visual appeal, believability (in some cases, the more far-fetched, the better!), and the how much the idea will contribute to the solution of Global Warming.
