Welcome back to Chance to Shine!

After a rather extended break from the deviantArt, I'm here to bring you an exciting new issue, complete with three new amazing emoticonists for you to feast your eyes upon. I hope that the wait hasn't been too horrible for you all, and that you'll forgive the time off, issues will start rolling in at more regular intervals from now on.

Featured Emoticonists

I'll leave it short this time, you all probably know the drill by now. Let's move on to the featured artists!


₁₎ - =Gnog

First off on the list is Gnog. This 17 year old lass from the UK has been a member for about 4 and a half years now, and has been a member for about 3 months longer than me! And you know what? She has some AWESOME emotes in her gallery!


- The Have and the Have Not

An excellent theme being represented here, and the ice cream looks so incredibly delicious that I absolutely can't deny this one a spot here. The whole piece is really well made, and the glass serving plate looks amazing, and I know for a fact that glass is really really hard to pull off well in this format. Amazing.


- Avatar for itsedennsonn

Something about this avatar just makes it absolutely incredibly hillarious. Probably the fact that the emote looks so incredibly excited. It's a really eye catching avatar, and the color-changing-text is a nice touch.


- Flying Fun

I wonder how many flight-hours this tardmote must have gotten by now. The air plane looks sweet, and the looping background works well. It's got that cartooney feeling that I absolutely love in emoticons.


₂₎ - =BlissfullySarcastic

Another little lady from the US here, BS has been with us for about a year now, but has already left a rather significant mark in the emoticon community. In my book, she's bound for greatness.


- Fav Whore

This is an excellent and simple little piece right here, and it even garnered Bliss a DD a while ago! It's easy to see why. The idea is perfect, and it's executed flawlessly. Really goes to show you that simple can be great.


- Jumping Through Hoops

A great theme captured in emoticon format, and a really well made background create an overall very pleasing emoticon to look at. Sometimes, people do anything to please others, even going to lengths of jumping through hoops to get to their goal. Did Bliss need to do something like that? No, cause this emoticon is awesome.


- New Avvie

A rather simple avatar, but also very eye catching. I really like the chequerboard background here, and the animations is simple yet effective. The rounded corners makes the avatar in use really stand out when next to other avatars.

And lastly, we have a... ANOTHER girl from the UK. They really are quite popular these days, aren't they? A lot of talent cooked up over there


- Candy Shop - tardberry cake

We're starting of simply with a static emoticon, and one that is part of a project none the less. The emoticon is placed perfectly in this piece and really makes that cake look mighty delicious! And I absolutely love how happy it looks


- Bottled Tards

These bottle themed emoticons are quite popular these days, and I gotta say, this is probably one of my favorites of the bunch. The one outside the bottle seems to not realize that there's a glass wall between it and the other tards inside, and it's desperately trying to reach them, and quite humorously at that. An excellent piece with some really nice animation work.


- Blank Date

The blanks have to have done it all by now. And this one is particularly hillarious. I can't really think of anything else to write about it, so I'll leave it at that.
