Up For A New, Cooler Contest?

Any kind of medium can enter, any kind of artist, and the picture can have any kind of message, but the winner will be selected on one thing and one thing only (besides the other things mentioned below):

The piece of art that hits my spot the hardest, that makes the largest impact in an emotional fashion, takes the prize of a 12 month subscription.

Be aware though, DeviantArt is a big pond filled to the edge with big fish, so you'll have to work hard to impress me if you want to win!

Also be aware of that I will be using a system similar to DA Critique as well as my potential emotional instability to judge your works:

Vision: How beautiful is your art? What can be seen, and how does it affect the vision of your art?
Originality: How many times have I seen the same thing before? Is your work a "same shit different color" piece or a unique piece of art?
Technique: How well composed the piece is, judging everything from angle and composition to post processing, colors, exposure, etc.
Impact: How many somersaults my heart will make on first, second and third glance. Break my heart to impress.

IMPORTANT: Rules

You may submit ONE thumb for the contest.
Your art may be any category and art form you'd like (photo, traditional, digital, etc).
It must be a completely new piece made for this contest only, submitted after June 13th 2009. And please be honest, it's more fun for the rest of us if no one tries to cheat. I should add that I will ignore all thumbs that are uploaded before June 13th.
You have until Monday July 13th 2009
