Just a couple or few months ago, in March of 2009, I celebrated One Year here on dA, an extraordinary experience, to say the least. One of the main things I did to celebrate was to do a News Article featuring all of my wonderful Friends/Watchers from Year One. 


To me, the most important part of the written portion of that article was the part where I defined “Friend” based on several online dictionary sources.


For example, dictonary.com, here: [link]

gives a definition that alludes to a wide range of meaning, in depth and breadth of friendship. Obviously, I cannot have over 500 actual close friends on dA, but I take the word “Friend” to mean some of the other definitions and synonyms provided in these resources, such as- supporter, being on good terms, non-hostile, the act of being friendly, advocate, associate, ally, comrade, acquaintance....

When I sign Notes or whatnot, with “Your Friend, Tea” it is a term of endearment for those who have shown me support, for those I have things in common, and sometimes it’s for stronger or closer sentiments. I respect the range of what friendship can mean and entail.

Since March of 2009, I am nearing 600 Friends/Watchers, and it is time acknowledge at least the first 500, but most of which were already featured in March, at the anniversary mark.

Therefore, those who have decided to watch me since March 10th and after, up to the 500th, will be featured next- half now, and the other half will be featured by beginning/mid-August.

I recognize that not all 500 of my Watchers are still here, or active, but for me, it is necessary to acknowledge each person who chose to Watch me at some point along the way of my artistic journey here on dA.

For I will forever be grateful to each and every person, no matter how close we are, or are not quite, for the amount of support I have been given, in whatever amounts and/or ways that this has been done. My heart is FULL and my gratitude is purely immeasurable.

The same goes for the rest to follow soon... and additionally I continue my deep appreciation to each one who has watched me and my progress since the FIRST DAY I came to dA.
