Project Effortless

=Anjellyjoy:iconAnjellyjoy: reports, 2d 6h ago
This is a sub-project of the group #alwaysmotivated. I am the admin, posting on behalf of the group. :)

Have you ever put a lot of effort into a piece of artwork and writing but it turned out to be not as good as the work of another artwork or writing which the artist/writer has spent minimal effort in? If you have, then we know what it's like. Here on deviantART, there are plenty of deviants who put in their best effort each and every time but their work still ends up noticed and less loved than another who has not put as much thought into their work because they can produce high quality artworks with ease. We want to recognise these artworks and writing because we believe that works should primarily be judged on effort and the artist's own standard rather than whether the work is of a 'good quality' in general.

Project Effortless has an aim to explore the art of new, young and beginner artists and writers in an attempt to help them get more exposure and advice in order to help them improve. It is an ongoing project that will open up once in a while to allow deviants to submit or suggest artworks in which they believe the artist has put maximum effort in but have in return received minimal exposure.

#ProjectComment is a project that features the generally obscured and underappreciated artists and their art in regular news articles. Our objective is to recognise deviants who deserve more recognition and to feature deviations with less than 10 original comments.

The 0-5 Comments Issues feature a deviant as well as 3 deviations with less than 5 original comments from a wide selection of art. Please give your time to :+favlove: this article and to write constructive comments so that you make a true difference to the artists featured here.

Pass the Poem III: Loss of a loved one

=VertigoArt:iconVertigoArt: reports, June 25
Information

I have decided to host a new Pass the Poem.
This time the subject is "Loss of a loved one".
I will only be accepting the first 25 people, so sign up quickly.

A few changes have been made to this round, so please read all the information carefully.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Pass the Poem: Loss of a loved one

With the success of "Pass the Poem:Childhood" and "Spring", we are going to do it again.

Imagine "telephone" meets "chain letter" meets poetry.

The theme for this one is "Loss of a loved one". The style will again be freeform poetry.

How it will work

:bulletblue: First comment or send =VertigoArt a note telling me you want to participate by July 10, 2009. We will start then or as soon as we get 25 participants.

:bulletblue: Then I will post the list of the 25 participants in my journal.

:bulletblue: I will post the first line in my journal with the title "PTP:Loss of a loved one"

:bulletblue: I will then send the line, the list of names, and the theme to the next person in line.

:bulletblue: That person will post what I wrote with the same title and credit me with it. They will then add their line of the poem and post it in their journal.

:bulletblue: They will pass it back to me via note and I will pass it on to the next person in line.

Each person should write just one line. You may write a broken line such as:

Eating grapes
--------in the garden

if that would fit for your line. Remember there is no form, nor rhyme pattern, and no meter to follow; it is freeform and free flowing. We want the piece to go together, but ultimately we will not know what direction it will take until we are done.

Once completed I will post it in a news article as well as my gallery and you all are welcome to post it as well as long as you credit everyone involved.

Hope to hear form you all very soon. Only 25 people will be participating this time, so remember to sign up quickly via note to =VertigoArt. Remember all you have to do is one line and a simple journal entry.

The first one can be viewed here: [link]

Any questions comment or send =VertigoArt a note
