June 25, 2009: Farrah Fawcett, 62, US actress who gained fame in the television series Charlie's Angles, of cancer. The former swimsuit model, once married to Lee Majors, was the partner of actor Ryan O'Neal. June 25, 2009: Michael Jackson, 50, US singer dubbed the King of Pop. He was rushed to hospital with a suspected heart attack and could not be revived. Jackson had a string of hits with the Jackson 5 in the 1970s before launching a spectacular solo career, relaeasing many multimillion-selling albums including Thriller and Bad.
