I'm still floating, here is why:

Part 1
So on the morning of June the first I was laying in bed, watching Discovery Channel and getting ready to wake up properly. I decided to take my little laptop and see if I had new messages on deviantART. A few seconds later (before dA was on) I got flooded with msn and skype messages congratulating me. I had no clue what it was about, since nobody told my why. But then ¢mindfuckx was online and he said:

'Man, I want to see your face right now!'

So I kinda figured out it was sirious bizness. My hands were shaking while I logged into dA, I can assure you! I couldn't have got a DD, ¢mindfuckx and his 6 DD's would never have reacted like that. I know him too well for that.

I froze when I saw my name on the front page! I couldn't believe it! I can't really describe what I was feeling back then, it kinda had to grow on me. It's an amazing honour to be picked up and placed in a (very elite) list of deviants.

I got awarded with the deviousness award for June'09

I remember covering $chix0r with thankyous, but the rest kinda is a blur to me. Maybe ¢mindfuckx still knows how I reacted. Strong emotions have that effect often, I guess. I hope I thanked everybody else who supported me!


Part 2
You'd think June couldn't get any better right? Just a few days after running around head held high (5th of June), I received a Daily Deviation on a very humble script I wrote. This would also be my sixth Daily Deviation, which means I officially received more DD's then I suggested (5). (I know, I'm ashamed!) I also really don't think I deserve a DD on that deviation, but besides that I learned something awesome. 206 people installed it since then, and 105 faved it. It's amazing how many people take the time to fave a script before installing it. Thx a lot!

Part 3
Something completely different now! In my mailbox there is an artistcopy of Exposé7! Which means I have one of my artworks printed in there I don't know who suggested me to send in Pinocchio Madness, but I did it and it got selected, so thanks a lot to that person! I was even more thrilled when I found out I had won the Excellence Award! You surely can understand why I floated the rest of the month right?



Part 4
I felt spoiled, I didn't know what was yet to come then! I didn't only feel like a different person, I also had other stuff to wear by then! I came home two days after receiving my Exposé7 book to found out there were another two big cardboard boxes standing in front of my computer room. Of course, I knew what it was when I saw FedEx printed on it. My devwear arrived just in time for the worldtourmeeting!

For those that aren't convinced about the devwear. They really are quality stuff and I love wearing them. Especially this one!


Part 5
Only one week passed right, there are still 3 weeks to go! I told you it was a June overload! I wanted to go to the London devmeet, because I hoped $chix0r would be there and I'd be more then happy to thank her personally for the crazy week she gave me so far. I would have ¢mindfuckx and =Re-d-D-ot on my side, but for many deviants (including them) the timing was bad, so we decided on a last call to go to Paris on the 11th of June instead.

I won't go into details on this one, because ¢mindfuckx and =Re-d-D-ot were kind enough to explain the whoooole thing!

Please, don't believe a word they say, I had nothing to do with any of this and I was also not flirting with =nekozumi!

I only saw $spyed for 5 or 10 seconds, I said 12 words to him, he said 12 words back. I spoke to $Heidi a bit more though. And then for those that want to know:

$Heidi didn't gave me the knee to the groin, when I asked her to squeeze my balls. She laughed, took a marker and starting writing on them: "Yannick, squeeze your own balls! $Heidi"

I met many lovely French deviants!


Part 6
Cramps, cramps, cramps! I've had over 10.000 favs, watches, comments and replies. I discussed with a few, Replied on most of them, thanked nearly most, but definitely read all of them and tried to clean my messagecenter [which is normally clean every other day]

I can't really thank you enough for all the support you guys gave me. I recognized so many deviants who I haven't spoken with in years. It really brings back memories!


Part 7
Just when I thought the month was a the top of it's game, I came home from work (today 29th of June) and noticed my very old neighbour standing in front of our house. She walked over when I got out of my car. She told me someone delivered a really large package with FedEx printed on it. My heart skipped a beat! I went along with her and she handed over the box. I rushed home and I never unpacked something that quickly since I was 5 years old

Part 8
June has only one last day, I'd love to do something back to all of you and to dA. Any tips? Be aware though:

1. I'm not ready for marriage yet


2. The making-babies-part can be discussed


3. I too have only 24 hours a day


4. You can have cake, you'll only have to come for it yourself

I can honestly say I'm perfectly happy! I just don't have someone special to share it with (yet).
