This is the sixth month in the series that features all of the Artisan Crafts Daily Deviations from the previous month. In addition to each Daily Deviation will be the DD description that went with it, which sub-gallery it is located in, and the name of the suggester. I hope you enjoy this series!

June 1 -- Lightnings gunblade -complete by *fevereon (Woodworking)

The suggester said that "Lightnings gunblade -complete by *fevereon is a beautifully crafted piece that took more than one hundred hours to research and build. It is a model of a weapon appearing in the unreleased video game Final Fantasy XIII and is breathtakingly accurate and true to form. When I first sighted this deviation, the first thought in my mind was 'wow', the detail is amazing and there's not much one can do to stop themselves gaping in awe at the superb craftsmanship. This isn't the only amazing model in the artist's gallery and I recommend paying a visit to her gallery to see what else she has created." Suggested by ~IBeatSephiroth and =Ex-Shadow.


June 2 -- My First Custom Toy by ~frecklefaced29 (Custom Dolls)

Customized vinyl toy from Christopher Lee's "Urbanite" series by sculpting, carving, sanding, and painting and among some of the materials used were acrylics, colored pencils, clay, and resin; about 8" (20.5cm). From ~frecklefaced29's website: "At the midnight time, Great Owl wakes up and transforms his feathery chest into his mysterious garden. He allows any innocent creatures to live in his garden. He always watches over his own garden and good friends from evils and demons. When the sunrise starts, Great Owl goes back to his feathery look and falls asleep for regaining his strength." June 3 -- PSToast by ~Blue-Sky-Complex (Miscellaneous)

The suggester said that "The main reason I'm suggesting this is the sheer ingenuity required to think up the system and, of course, the technical skill required to carry it off. And come on, who can't resist something so cool looking?" And, who could possibly resist seeing this PS2oaster in fullview?! Suggested by `timmy64.


June 4 -- Tri Colored Chocolate Mousse by ~snocookie05 (Culinary Arts)

The suggester wrote, "This is a piece with an insanely intricate design. Using a pen and paper to design a master-piece is one thing, but using food is another. This piece took 6 hours to complete, not including freezer time." Absolutely a must-see in fullview! Suggested by *Winters-Daughter.


June 5 -- M I R A N D A S . B O X by =bitchinblack (Miscellaneous)

"On the first glimpse, this small box doesn't look really special. It's just a black box. But when you read the descripton, the box converts to something original and well-reconsidered. It represents 8 evils (like hatred, violence etc.) and the hope. Everything is done with much love and appears nearly like a little game. =bitchinblack must have put a lot of work and effort in this wonderful twist of Pandora's Box to make something new with this topic." June 6 -- Futuristic City Final Shot by ~Brunch-with-HotChoco (Architectural Design)

What the suggester said is so cute: "I'm going to quote my four-year-old on this one and say... 'Super cool! It's crayola heaven!' I couldn't agree more with her! An inventive and unique way of using a medium as something other than what it's made for." Suggested by `oibyrd.


June 7 -- Pole axe hairsticks revisited by ~bionic-dingo (Jewelry)

"Ok, I am addicted to hair sticks, so to start with I think these are just a really cool idea. Add to that, they are unique, practical, eye-catching and detailed. Just a fun idea that I can't resist, well executed, and displayed." Suggested by *Glori305.


June 8 -- Cleopatra the Golden Queen by ~yayacosplay (Costumes)

The suggester said of this always stunning, versatile cosplayer and impeccable costumemaker, "DD = Delightfully Dazzling~? The colours and confidence with which this costume is worn are certainly delightfully dazzling, in any event!." Suggested by *kamizuki.


June 9 -- 12 by ~tamusia (Sculpture & Glass)

A lush and finely wrought piece done in enamel cloissoné.


June 10 -- sail away by *hoppipoppi (Papercraft & Folding)

"With a close attention to detail, sail away by *hoppipoppi steps up the boundaries of papercraft with this fun piece." Made with cut paper, acrylics, and gouache. Suggested by `lazybutt.


June 11 -- Martini and Shaker Set by ~J-Belfiore (Metalwork)

An absolutely novel and marvelous martini set. The shaker was made from pewter and cast bronze and the glasses from sterling silver and cast bronze.


June 12 -- Bukhara Princess by ~gbdreams (Jewelry)

"I imagine that the details of this piece only hint to the amount of time and talent it takes to create such a beautiful necklace. It is as though she has captured the essence of an exotic butterfly and translated it into her art..." Suggested by *SkyeTrinity.


June 13 -- angel table by *merthryr (Woodworking)

The suggester said that this altar table is "a melding of two different styles, a nice combination of woods with graceful curves reflected in both forms, detail opposing simplicity, and even the difference in finishes makes this a superb piece." Suggested by *cl2007.

June 16 -- Drow specialist complete by *Sharpener (Leatherwork)

The suggester said of this Drow armor that "It's an amazing and very mature style of leather craft. Well posed, aggressive contrast, and supreme detail." Suggested by ~farmer-bootoshysa and =redness.


June 17 -- Swamplings and Shroomlings II by ~Lykaios (Jewelry)

About this intriguingly beautiful ring, the suggester said, "Lykaios has made a beautiful piece of wearable sculpture from an unlikely subject. She adeptly displays several metal working skills including forging, casting, granulation and stone-setting to create a fine example of sculpture and art jewelry." The larger stone on the left is a smokey quartz and the smaller stone on the right is a tsavorite garnet (green garnet). This one just begs to be seen in fullview! Suggested by *paperfetish.


June 18 -- LoveLauraLand's Custom Bride by ~Tamizery (Custom Dolls)

The suggester said that this was "a direct copy of me in my wedding dress as a unicorn. I just think the sculpting and details are incredible, the paint work and the silver flecks from the design of my dress are an amazing copy and all the bead work is a perfect match. ~Tamizery has made this plain little pony into a porcelain delight." June 19 -- Izumik wedding cake by ~see-through-silence (Culinary Arts)

A wedding cake based directly from a wedding dress design. All the "fabric" is fondant, from the folds to the sash. The roses are also fondant and the "lace" was made from royal icing. Suggested by `dottiemaggie.


June 20 -- December Ring of the Month by =Spexton (Jewelry)

Hammered and with a mirror finish, this stainless steel band features a narrow sand-blasted and recessed length with an off-center diamond. Available in a variety of widths (from 7mm to 12mm), the ring shown here is 10mm wide and is versatile enough to be a wedding band or for whatever purpose you wish and can be for either men or women. The design duo of Greg and Nate of =Spexton offer hand-made stainless steel rings, pendants, bracelets, and also titanium rings. They also work with copper, 22k gold, and Argentium silver, but like stainless steel and titanium because they are hypo-allergenic and don't rust or tarnish. June 21 -- Marie flore's Wedding Dress by ~michaeljack (Clothing)

A corseted wedding gown with an edge-pleated shrug. The curved seams on either side of the front make the front panel fitted but then are eased into the ample fullness of the softly pleated back and terminate with a short train.


June 22 -- Ceratosaurus by ~IsisMasshiro (Sculpture & Glass)

The suggester wrote, "I saw the thumbnail of this and thought, wow, different poses, must be 3D art. When I clicked on it I just went WOW! Its a doll! I've never seen anything so cool and well crafted. It's amazingly realistic and the hinged mouth is what really got me." Suggested by *Dans-Magic, *CunningFox, and ~Xannerz.


June 23 -- Art Nouveau BY Kajarnold by ~kajkai (Woodworking)

A carved mirror made of birch. The suggester wrote, "every detail in this is beautiful. I love the non-traditional shape of the actual mirror itself, the trim detail at the top and bottom, and the lovely ladies standing to either side." Suggested by *Glori305.


June 24 -- Mark Paraka toy by =LilFairie (Plushies)

This plushie was created by the artist as apart of a bigger toy brand called Alternative Imagination. "With Alternative Imagination, I interpret children’s drawings and stories about their imaginary friends into soft toys. Mark Paraka was first imagined 18 years ago as a response to two little girls seeing tree branches that look like letters. With their imagination they were sure some great magical creature was trying to communicate with them, which they called Mark Paraka. After hearing the story of Mark Paraka, Sophia Ying (then aged 5) drew her rendition of the monster. From there I crafted Sophia's drawing into a loveable toy. Her original drawing can be seen on the packaging. Mark Paraka helps children get out into nature and to look a little deeper into what they see. He also helps the children with developing their language skills."


June 25 -- dalek storm 9 by ~Dalekstorm (Woodworking)

EX-TERM-IN-ATE!!-- that familiar harsh aggressiveness comes from a voice modulator in this hand-built dalek storm 9 by Doctor Who fan Alan Clarke. He spent 5 hours a day for 8 months building this 6-foot tall driveable dalek out of wood, fitted it with two high-powered water cannon, and it is fully illuminated with red, green, and blue neon tubes. He based it on a sketch by Rocky Marshall for the 1993 "Dark Dimension" special that was never made and hopes that the BBC will notice it and use it in the Dr. Who TV series. June 26 -- Apple Bytes II by =savageworlds (Metal Work)

A wonderful Art Nouveau aluminum work with lots of lovely beveled edges. Made to fit not only the cover of a customer's MacBook Pro, but it also cleverly and perfectly exposes the Apple logo. For technical information, please refer to the artist's comments. Suggested by `Myana and *Talia-May.


June 27 -- The Prince by ~sizzing (Costumes)

Entirely drafted and self-made costume of the heroic Prince Rasler from Final Fantasy XII that really shows off ~sizzing's fine costumemaking skills. Suggested by ~AzureEcho.


June 28 -- Steampunk Pocket Watch by ~dravensinferno (Metal Work)

Steampunk without being cliché; detailed, but spare; exposed clockwork, copper and brass. ~dravensinferno is a skilled metalsmith and also has some training in watchmaking. Suggested by ~ivofarcry.


June 29 -- Purse by ~RodneyHomeMade (Leatherwork)

An asymmetrical design that makes best possible use of a hide and even keeps the hide's natural imperfections, which are quite handsome and add interest to the whole. The handle is one with the hide, having been made by cutting two slits in the hide and then binding the leather between them with a separate strip of leather to give it its round shape. The suggester wrote, "I'm not a crafter, but as a buyer and a user of bags, I know when I see quality and originality." Suggested by ^Helewidis.


June 30 -- Breaking the Egg by ~FrealaF (Plushies)
