MAD (
Meet
A Deviant) with =
angelitonegro interview number one!
First deviant under the spotlight will be..
Let's get to know him! 1) How come you decided to join deviantART? And when? Well I knew deviantART before even being a member, since 2006, I never thought joining dA community until last year during July 2008, thats almost one year from now

I have seen so many interesting art & artists all over this wonderful community, and that, motivated me to become a deviant and an active one so far; its not jealousy, but curiosity and my strive to become a better person & photographer, something inside me rushed to enter here, day after day to discover, and be part of this online art gathering .its not always about attractive or appealing art, but its also about watching decent work all over dA that makes it complete in a way, that everyone can learn from the other, the beginner from the professional or even vice versa, its not only a collective work, its within that on a personal level.
2) When did you start photography? I never really fell for photography, until I got my 1st DSLR which is almost 6 month ago, yep, my baby canon was a Xmas gift

- I couldnt say that I started this Xmas, it was just a big push for me owning it, anyhow I studied black & white photography at first @ university last year, and I hated it, yep thats true.. I never connected to BW photography + we had all the work in the Lab, which I didnt fancy much

Then the following semester, I dont know how, but, we were taking color photography and It was love at first sight! And since then Ive been hitting on it very much; I consider photography not just a hobby, but a passion that runs through my veins.
3) How were you introduced to photography?Hmm, in summer 2006, the July war started in Lebanon, anyway an environmental disaster happened, and Lebanese shores & beaches were hit by an oil spill, back then I was volunteering on a campaign to do clean up operations even without cease fire, I was assigned a Media Leader & they gave me for a short time a Nikon D70 which I was experimenting with & documenting our continuous field work, that was the 1st time I touch a dslr & was ever introduced to photography.
4) Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspiration mostly in magazines; Movies inspire me as well. But magazines work most of the time; even sometimes a piece of cloth or a random location, could give something than I can turn tangible.
5) How much has changed your art since you posted your first deviation?..Ouff, a lot I must say; Ive become much more mature when it comes to the artwork I do.
I experienced change with time, with patience, with models, with everyone & everything around me. I touched emotions at some point which turned my way of thinking and my perception of things to another level; it might have been a better or less important level, but surely helped me growing up each day.
6) What are your favorite artists on deviantART?I admire several artists on dA and I love their work here, I am gonna mention few:
Jeff Slater
Akif [HAKAN] Celebi
MURAT SAYGINER
Monique Zöllner
7) Is there something you'd like to change here on dA?Hmm not change actually, but would like to add something, maybe if we edit our page with more options, with several templates & colors that would be fun- it would reflect each persons point of view & style
I am not sure if this would look abit messy but I think a profile layout should leave a more impression to other deviants.
8) What do you think about pageviews and deviation views?I used to count them. He he... but not anymore since I feel its not about how many people see my work, its about the finest people that check every now and then my photography and comment on it, and that actually would mean more to me than just a number on my profile to count visitors.
I am pleased with people who check my deviations, but would love more to get comments or even critiques on them; a fav or a comment is wonderful for me
9) Are you in any kind of project on dA? Would you like to?Not really, No; I wish I am
I often participate in clubs contests & chat room discussions, but would love to get more involved in a united project over dA!!
10) Say something funnyIf you saw a man drowning and you could either save him or photograph the event, which lens would you use?
