Our Winners!
Ill start off with 3rd place! There was some excellent entries in the collab contest.
3rd Place
They took a new twist to the story, and they certainly put a lot of effort; they even wrote a story for it. The Silkworm and the Spider, on the other hand, does have different species than usual, however, throughout the whole judging process I was not taking species into consideration as I don't think it makes the picture "conceptual" or "creative" in comparison, though still, insects are pretty hard to anthropomorphize so you have to give them bonus points for effort on that one.
Overall I think the effort and quality was about equal. Silkworm and the Spider had the best - out of all the submissions - collaboration effort. The Silkworm and the Spider was the only one in the contest to have every aspect of the art be contributed from both artists. They both did lineart (they each did a character), they both worked on the background and foreground, and they both coloured and shaded! It seems like genuine teamwork, to trust the other person to work with you instead of "do your own thing."
Third place has been awarded to the collaborative efforts of =

2nd Place
A not-so-popular story that has been executed with the utmost quality. I love the use of texture that brings this piece back to antiquity.
A very creative, and textural piece which displays quite a unique take on the take on the Aesops Fable. Because of the uniqueness of this piece, it has been awarded
Second place!

1st Place
I love the amount of detail in the background of this image -- from the designs on the tiles beneath the leopard to the distant blossoms in the trees. The background is beautifully constructed and of course the characters are wonderfully detailed as well, right down the rings on the leopard's fingers. I also like the modern notes like the suitcase and coffee cup the fox is carrying.
Very well deserving, The Fox and The Leopard was a highly detailed and creative.
And we happily present

I think everyone deserves a well round of applause for awesome collaborative efforts! You all really pushed to combine your talents into something very powerful.

What Are Friends For?
I liked the detail, and the portrayal stuck pretty close to the original story I found it held a good amount of creativity.

The Lion and the Mouse
I loved the modern take on it!

Hey Diddle Diddle
I really like the character designs, especially the plate and the spoon, though.

The Charlatan Frog is packed full of fun characters whose unique expressions had me smiling. The frog's outfit and facial expression definitely make him a winner, but don't overlook the other characters as well!
The lines, anatomy, and facial expressions are unique, as is the colouring, which blends for a very great picture with both artists indeed.

Mary Mary Quite Contrary
I think this partnership did one of the better jobs on collaboration. Instead of the usual "I draw lineart you colour" which unless one of them has a unique way with anatomy it usually ends up not so collaborated, they both partook in the colouring part. One did the lineart, shaded, and texturizing, the other chose the colours and even added to the original lineart by adding some faeries. They did a great job on the collaborating though, and it ended up pretty fair.

Wolf in Sheeps Clothing
LOVELY concept, great creativity and even has some humor. Pretty good quality wise.

Anthro Collab Contest Entry
Adorable concept, and very recognizeable!
Closing

Hope you enjoyed all the entries and Congrats to our winners!
