The Rules

 The theme for this photo contest is Still Life. deviantART's definition is:

Still life showcases studio-style photography that features inanimate objects.

 So far so good. But if one takes the time to browse through dA's Still Life category, she'll find lots and lots of miscats. It seems the studio-style part of the definition isn't all to clear. The Wikipedia article on Still Life uses the term artificial setting instead of studio-like.

Still Life is a work of art depicting mostly inanimate subject matter [...] in an artificial setting.

 I am looking for photos where inanimate objects, either natural or man-made, have been arranged by the photographer prior to taking the picture. As always, I am ready and willing to accept your point of view. So don't be shy and flood me with what you deem to be Still Life photography!

 To enter the contest, just send me a note with a thumb or link to your photo. Only one photo per account please. I accept old photos, too.

 I will only accept photographs taken with a film or a digital camera. Photomanipulations, which are images that have been composed of two or more photographic elements to create something new, won't qualify.

 All contest entries are displayed in this contest journal, and in the June Mini Contest Collection.

 Voting begins July 25^th and ends July 30^th, 24:00h WST. What time is that where I live? (Ordered by city name) You either send me a note or answer to my reminder-note. This is how it works:
