Welcome to this weeks volume of so we heard you liek emotes. This is the 39th volume in a weekly series aimed towards promoting emote and emoticonists from the dA community. It features emotes posted within the past week from both well known and new emoticonists, as well as featuring some other great emote projects and contests.
Featured Emoticons:
1.

I think its pretty obvious why I chose to feature Hologram by `
Droneguard. Each scene is created with jawdropping detail and has been animated flawlessly together. The hologram effect between each background is amazing to watch and helps the emoticon flow throughtout.
2.

I always love to see outstanding static emoticons, and this is the case with Balloons by =
Mr-Jaunty. The shading is brilliant on both the emote and the balloons, and the range of colours certainly adds some life to the image. The whole emote has been arranged exceptionally well and the choice of expression helps make this and adorable emoticon.
3.

I had to giggle when I saw :remote: by *
doubleyou-tee-eff. The concept is brilliant and the animation is made to match. The different poses and expressions work brilliantly and the little play/pause/rewind symbol in the top just helps make the emoticon complete.
4.

Theres something extremely adorable about See-Saw of Love by =
BurgerBunny. The animation is fluent throughout and the delay in hand motions assist in the physics of the motion. The way the emotes squash as they land on the see-saw is a great touch and small details such as the flower and heart just make this a cute emoticon all round.
5.

As emotes go, :lolfalconpunch: by *
TheStaticCling looks pretty unusual, but is still great to watch. Each of the different characters has been nicely created and the animation runs very smoothly. The flash of red and black with each hit works very effectively to make an emote thats hard to draw your eyes away from.
Other great emoticons posted recently

4th July
Today happens to be the 4th July American Independence Day. Im not American, but as Im in the USA for the holiday season I thought I would feature some emotes with a USA/Fireworks theme.

Featured Projects
We had another busy week with projects with 5 more being released
Tropical Isle Project
This is a neat little project based on the theme of a desert island. With the base containing land, sky and water it allows for endless possibilities when it comes to entries. If youre interested in taking part definitely take a look.
Kill the emote ProjectWith such a unique choice of theme I look forward to seeing some entries for the
kill the emote project. To enter simply make a static or animated emoticon which is in some way is killed. The project will run until July 30th, so get planning your entries
Emoticon Universe
In case you didnt get a chance or time to enter one of the previous space projects, or you feel like being more creative, there is a new one to take part in, this time hosted by =
can-i-haz-cookie. Currently the universe is looking empty, so it would be great to see some entries to help fill it up
Lets Reach the moon
With 3 different areas to create emoticons for in this project you should never be short of ideas. The simple but effective idea mixed with a great starting canvas makes this an interesting project for which I cant wait to see the finished product.
Rave Project
Ive already seen a number of rave entries pop through my inbox so it looks like this project is set to be a good one. As this is a flash project it accepts both static and animated entries, and even has its own lights and soundtrack. The theme allows for a wide range of entries so definitely go check it out.
