Hello everyone!

I figured it would be a nice idea to add some more craft features to give exposure to some of the awesome artists in our crafty community. Since there is an abundance of holidays strewn throughout the year, this gives us seemingly endless possibilities for features!
If you would like to see a feature for a specific holiday (maybe a local holiday in your country or a religious holiday or even a fun holiday like Talk Like A Pirate Day), please feel free to send us a feature suggestion. Title your note "Holiday Feature" and send in links or thumbs to your feature suggestions (I'd suggest around 10 featured deviations, but it's entirely up to you how many you want to send in), don't forget to mention which holiday it is, when it happens and what it's all about. We will try to post as many holiday features as we can, this way we can also learn of different cultures and countries from all over the world!
We're looking forward to your suggestions!Today's feature is for the American
Independence Day, Fourth of July! From
wikipedia: In the United States, Independence Day, known as, and more commonly referred to by the phrase "Fourth of July", is a federal holiday commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain. Independence Day is commonly associated with fireworks, parades, barbecues, carnivals, fairs, picnics, concerts, baseball games, political speeches and ceremonies, and various other public and private events celebrating the history, government, and traditions of the United States. Independence Day is the national day of the United States.
So here we are with an all American feature:

I hope you enjoyed this feature! Please don't forget to

the article and any of the deviations that you enjoyed. Show the artists some love, please!

Please remember to send in your suggestions for the next holiday feature!

Cheers,

Happy Fourth of July!

Where have you gone, from me?
The one that I loved endlessly...
We were to have a child; yesterday's gone.
Well I knew the time would come.
When I'd have to leave...
And now, look what they've done to me.
Taken my hair; it's killing me...

An emptiness began to grow
There's something out there, far from my home
A longing that I've never known"
