The *color-me-club continues to grow at a steady rate, with again a record number of lineart submissions, color submissions, page views, and above all else, contest submissions. June hosted the color portion of the 'Impaired' contest, where the *color-me-club made a pledge to feature the Do1Thing charity for advocating and assisting youth born in poverty and homelessness. On top of that, two dollars were to be donated for each image received in the contest.

Well, it seems the club administrator won't be getting that Playstation3 he's been saving up for. The club received an incredible number of entries, almost doubling the previous record for most contest submissions. The club received exactly one-hundred color entries. Couple that with the thirteen lineart submissions received in the May 'Impaired' contest, 113 images were submitted total over the past two months. Therefore, the *color-me-club pledges to donate $226.00 to the Do1Thing organization.

Much thanks to =StacyRaven for coming up with the idea for the contest, and particular thanks to =Estheryu for providing some fantastic lines for the June contest. Also much thanks to both of those members, and the dozens of others who featured the club's contest in their journals and signatures; it was their effort to get the word out that made this charity event and overwhelming success for the club.

Yet amidst the contest activity, the *color-me-club members also collaborated and sought collaboration amicably. We received hundreds of linearts and colored images. Here are all the images that were featured in the *color-me-club journal throughout the month of June, 2009.

This was a fantastic month for the *color-me-club, and so far, July is looking to be even better. We still have two more days left to vote and submit ideas for the July Lineart Theme. And we still need you to give us your votes and ideas so we can continue the trend, and make July even more amazing than June was.
