Today, I'm submitting my very first game review. Yay!
This review is for:
Fire Emblem (aka Fire Emblem: Rekka no Ken)
System: GBA
First off, some back story. One thousand years before the game takes place, Men and dragons fought in a war, which was known as the Scouring. Mankind won, and drove away the dragons. Now humans are the dominant species and there isn't a dragon in sight. At first, you start off as a tactician helping a girl named Lyn to find her grandfather, but the story unravels into something much bigger.

Plot:

At first it may move a bit slowly, but it builds up to be fascinating. I'm trying to write this as spoiler-free as possible, so I can't say much, but it switches eventually to follow a man named Eliwood in his search for his father. It also probably doesn't sound that good, but trust me. It is.

Gameplay:

One word: Amazing. It provides hours of addictive gameplay, the battle system works wonderfully, and the strategy format really makes you consider your moves. The game also comes with 'Hector's tale', in which you can play as Eliwood's friend, Hector. I haven't played it yet. The game also comes with hard modes for both Lyn & Eliwood's tales and Hector's tale, which means there's constant replayability.

Graphics & Music:

When you consider that it's a GBA game, it has some impressive pixel art and cute sprites. The music is nothing to write home about, with most tracks sounding very similar,
(wait. Do they play the same music every time they battle?)and it doesn't stand out much.

Overall:

The story and gameplay are outstanding. The graphics are cute and the music is average, and this game is filled with epicness. I highly recommend this game for anyone that likes strategy games.
Devious Comments
Video games usually do that, they usually have one song they play for average battles, and then have a different song for boss battles and stuff like that, so maybe. Idk I haven't played the game.
