reports, July 5 Been hearing from quite a few artists and have been exploring on some online communities and a certain theme tends to dominate!
Artsists are completely broke, on the verge of being unable to fund for their courses, potentially losing their homes and struggerling to survive at all.
Although it is recession time,I beleive that we need to all help each other as much as possible to reveal places and links for work and commisions for artists.
So if you know any places, links that could potentially give artists the opportunity to find some work, whether it is a single commision or full time job, please leave a link or mention a company's name in a comment after reading this article.
I am going to try and speak with admins on some online communities to see if they can hopefully conjure up a kind of helkp section where they can provide a huge list of places and links for work, not just in a little forum place.
The recent portfolio thing on DeviantART is amazing!!!! I think that a help package survival thing for artsits should be a next step?
