"ITS ABOUT TIME" I can hear some of you saying. Messa and I have been tinkering with the idea of a Black Feather Gospel contest for awhile, but we didn't want to interfere too much with the contests it seemed like all our friends were doing or steal their thunder so we held off until those got off the ground/finished.

BFG is filled with characters, a lot of them. MORE than just Michael and Lucifer, can you believe it? But they are obviously the two main characters of the story. however if you choose to draw someone other than those two, you won't have any less chance of winning. Draw who you want, its supposed to be fun, damnit!

So Here's the idea, YOU create a piece of art, ANY media you want, post it in your gallery, and send the link to *Nadadee or *messa in a note.


DEADLINE:
Sometime in Late September-mid november. We'll let you know when we decide an exact date.

PRIZES!!!

First Place! will get a year subscription to Deviantart, $40, and a collaborated full CG request from us.

Second Place! will get a six month subscription to Deviantart, $20, and a collaborated, flatted (Colored but unshaded) request from us

Third place! will get a three month subscription to Deviantart, $10, and a sketch request from us.

JUDGING:
The contest will be judged by us personally, if we find ourselves disagreeing on something, we'll probably ask some unbiased third party friend to be a tiebreaker. Somebody like *ShrunkenAngel.

Can I submit a written piece?
Yes. We're not going to limit creativity at all here. You wanna write a story/poem/song/haiku, you do that. Whatever you want. You're FREEEE

Can I draw Yaoi?!
Yes. And as much as you think we'll be biased TOWARD yaoi, I assure you we won't because we have self control like that. So if yaoi's not your thing, don't think it'll be a disadvantage.

Can I draw PORN!?
A lot of contests don't allow this which makes me wonder how often it happens. Yeah, sure, draw porn, its nothing we haven't seen before.

BLOOD/GORE?!
Yep. See above. NO LIMITS, PEOPLE, MAKE WHAT YOU WANT USING WHATEVER MEDIUM YOU WANT. (*messa: o-oh god)

Are you going to take my picture and all of my artistic rights and manipulate the hell out of it and sell it? My mom says people on the internet can't be trusted, they're just out to steal my work:
Of course NOT! Though we would like to post all entries on the BFG website, if you would prefer us NOT to, we completely and totally understand, we're artists too, after all. For anything other than website usage, we will seek your written permission (For instance, printed material for promotion at anime conventions) and we will NEVER make money off your work EVER. EVER EVER EVER.
