July's Diagnosis Scenario.Mr.Collins is 26 years old. For the past 6 months, on and off, he has been having abdominal pain followed by diarrhea throughout the day and has been having to get up plenty of times during the night. Bowel movements are not black. Mr.Collins has been experiencing aphtous ulcers around the mouth as well as difficulty swollowing and vomiting. Mr.Collins has also been experiencing some loss of appetite and has lost about 20 to 25 pounds. After a recent visit to his eye doctor, Mr.Collins was told he had uveitis and was perscribed antibiotics to treat it. Mr.Collins has also been experiencing flare ups of arthritis as well as a skin condition known as erythema nodosum. After working in the yard one day, Mr.Collins tripped and broke his ankle. After going to the doctor for the ankle, Mr.Collins told his doctor about his other problems and his doctor ordered some tests.
