Greetings deviant-folk,

I have long explored this universe that you claim is a "universal art community." After extensive research , I have discovered many oddities in your universe. I have spent billions of dollars in the lab and countless hours online and have compiled this anthology for your benifit.

Day I: The Martian Launch

I entered my rocketship and selected the "random deviation" option. I flew across the vast universe until I collided with The owner was ~doubleminttwin His realm contained two satellite moons and which made a lovely series that was vaguely space-like to me. On the second moon, I found a resident aptly named ~RedMoonlight his number-one favourite pet was a "Post Apocalyptic Scavenger" built by ~prepsage.

This was a very famous creation and was awarded a DD on Dec 14, 2008 by a space wanderer named ^JunkbyJen who was having some radiation testing. (Her journal mentions how she is having chemo treatment. May this work out for her! ) Jen works very hard on the planet called "Digital Art gallery" and has the title of "moderator." I saw another random traveler named ^archanN, also a "moderator," that I had met in another adventure.

Some explanation is needed here! My first attempt at wikipedia game style adventure on dA was a success because I made it home , but a failure because I couldn't save before my computer had an error! I decided to follow the rest of my path because I could not find the original deviation and some of the other content from that adventure

I knew that I could find a lot of information from this traveler and sought help from his "gallery" I came across and read up on its history. I noticed that `evilsyndicatemember had critiqued the piece. As I looked on, I noticed that an interesting creature was standing by. I was eager to leave this planet and decided to catch a ride.

Before I took off, the owner ~angeldust explained that this cow was a descendant of by ~dutchie17 As I rode across the universe, I noticed a passerby ask a very pertinent question - "how do I use it in the chat rooms?" Not knowing the answer myself, I followed the links, one which led down a dark path into oblivion [link] and one that brought me to a magician named `Zikes.

After listening to Zikes speak for a while, I realized that he was speaking a foreign language that was too technical, complicated, and magical for my understanding. I knew nothing of this "coding" and "programming" and believed that it was his magical powers .

I lost interest and confided in another listener named =S-a-t-i-n-e who had arrived a few hours earlier. After a pleasant conversation that centered around , I noticed a familiar face in the background. It was *signmeupscotty whom I had met in early July 2009. Satine was advertising the winners of his recent mini-contest, was number one.

After visiting his gallery and checking out my personal favourite , I looked up my alter-ego ~Demodocus in his "watcher" address book and found my way home safe and sound.

Method:
Wikipedia Game style [link] which involves following a path from a random deviation to your home profile. Good strategies include finding popular deviations/deviants, clubs that you are in, contests you entered, comments you left behind, people you watch, etc. Very fun to try for yourself. Variant length adventure.

Adventures in Deviant Art was designed by ~Demodocus with the intention of bringing the dA community together in a way that was random, obscure, unexpected, and possibly delightful.

The above narrative is a dramiticization. I did not have actual conversations or encounters with these people, I do not have rocketship, and I have never ridden a flying cow! I do notify all of those whom I encounter, though.
