so i become high

:iconpriestofknowledge:
why aren't there rhyming poems? I think there should be at least one each day.
:iconsirbret:
It depends entirely on the suggestions that we feature that day. Sometimes there will be fixed verses, villanelles, etc - some days there will be open verse. Open verse tends to be more popular nowadays, so we apologise if we can't find any fixed verse on that particular day. I hope that helps.

I entered literary life as a meteor, and I shall leave it like a thunderbolt.

- Guy de Maupassant
:iconjazzman1989:
not all poems rhyme and most shouldn't because they make it seem more like a chore on the writer rather than an integral part of the line and structure. However, it is valid there aren't more because structured poems do usually encumber the writer to follow a structured rhyme. So I guess that shows writers need to follow a more structured approach ;) Good point

:iconpriestofknowledge:
I believe someone is trying to assume something. I do not find it to be a chore, and if you do that obviously means you shouldn't write it.
:iconjazzman1989:
I didn't say you nor did I point fingers towards anyone else, I just made a comment about poets and poetry in general.
