It is a story about my home-country, the Czech republic and its fight for freedom and democracy. And I think it can help you to gain some very important and interesting information!

Exactly twenty years ago, the famous Velvet revolution started in the Czech republic and it finally brought freedom and democracy to the country. During the communist rule, there were political murders, violence and other terrible crimes against the humanity. As of October 28th, the GLBT community of the United States of America is now protected under the hate crimes laws. It took them almost 6 years after Canada got their laws changed, but they finally did!
