Stock to Art

This week's challenge is

An interview with stock user - ~Max6
1
What part of the stock gallery do you browse most?I browse nature stocks (mostly grassy fields, desert, skies and etc.) the most. I love manipulating landscapes and scenery, as it takes us to a new world, free from reality...

Other than that, household items or objects are also my favourite stock category because they are very useful when creating surreal or conceptual photomanipulations.
2
Do you browse for specific images or do you look through to see if something inspires you?It depends, if I have an idea(a specific manipulation I plan to do) i'll browse for specific images I plan to use. If i'm going through a manipulator's block

i'll look through random stock photos.
3
What are your chosen tools that you use when working with a stock image? The pen tool!

The pen tool is an amazing and powerful tool, you can cut any photos you want, but it surely takes time when you're working with big images. I avoid using the magic wand tool, unless the background is absolute white... Magic wand tool doesn't really do much, as the edges are rough when you extract it. Eraser tool pawns too!
4.
Do you have any tips to help other stock users that will make stock-crediting easier?Always save the link or bookmark the stock site or stock you want to use, for easier crediting. Crediting is the hardest part for most users, (like me) because it certainly takes time to find and copy the link when you are in a hurry or eager to upload your art. I always forget to bookmark the site, so it takes too much time to find the stock back. Lazy me.
Oh and, don't forget to link back your work to the stock providers, they'll appreciate you more!

5.
What would you like to see more of in the stock gallery?Mudkips!

Just joking lol. I would like to see more high quality stocks, mostly places, buildings or skyscrapers. I wanted to do a series of manipulations involving famous places or buildings like the Petronas Twin Towers, the Lincoln Memorial, Taipei 101 and moar! Unfortunately, there's no stocks posted on this site and other sites, I browsed for hours and hours but still couldn't find 'em. I never buy stocks so it makes it harder for me.
6.
What do you feel the relationship is between the stock community and the rest of dA?Stock providers play an important role in this community, without them, artists would have a hard time taking their own pictures for reference or manipulations. Imagine, a guy living in a rural area in Malaysia, and he wants to create a Statue of Liberty manipulation. Poor guy.

Thank you ~
