I thought it was time to announce to you that the Project "The Urianis Legend" finally opened its gates to any prospects interested in serious and profanity-free roleplaying. The whole project consists of 3 different dAmn-rooms, each made for a special purpose.

#UrianisLegend - The RP-Room
#Urianis - The OOC-Room (OOC = Out of character)
#UrianisLegendStaff - The room the staff is free to listen to your complaints, suggestions or help you to solve disputes

But what exactly IS "The Urianis Legend"?

All began with an idea for a Manga:
Around 2 years ago a mate and me decided to create a fantasy manga since he is great in drawing and myself good enough to invent a storyline.
So "The Legend of Urianis" formed and a small part of the story. But my mate never happened to lift his ass up and draw, though he had plenty much time and nothing to do. Yeah well and since then all the prepared things were decaying on my HDD.
Some weeks ago I thought with a small change here and there I might be able to create a base for an RP out of it. So I started to translate all the stuff with help of ~live4pain
And actually everything now following starts there.

What will the RP be like?

In the beginning there was the saying of seriousness and no profanity nad exactly that is what we will offer. At least the RP-Room has a Black-Word-List that shall prevent RPs drifting into something not worth to read or play anymore and prevent players to insult each other and/or their characters OOC.

The storyline provides space for pure fantasy/medieval players but also for those who rather prefer to play in the real time. Urianis exists in medieval times as well as in today times. Both aeras are even kind of connected through Time Gates. If the project runs really well even a future time is possible.

Are the basic settings and locations too strict?

No. Actually they are not. The only things we reserve is how the different continents look like and what climate dominates there, what races can be played, how people are able to travel from continent to continent and of couser some spare names of cities and the states on each continent. Beside of all that you can freely improve your own little village or town for your character, or where he is traveling, or fighting or talking or whatever.

Serious - does that mean no humor and romance?

Of course not. It's just all about writing and being able to express yourself. We won't force you into anything special. We just want to keep it all neat. Far away from all the huggling-nuzzling-cuddling-blah-blah-stuff. We don't prohibit romance themes we just ask for those people to really make a story around it and not just flood the chat with hugs and kisses between the characters. And humor is always good as long as it does not hurt anybody personally

Is there a language preference?

The rooms are english-only. The RP-Room strictly - the OOC-Rooms allows foreign words here and there from time to time depending on the topic that is talked about.

What do I have to pay special attention to?

The rules of course And your language. That also implies the use of PROPER english, especially in RP. That means no "em" "tis" "b0x0rz" "ur" "5c1550rz" "4u" or something like that. Sure, things like lol, rofl, lmao, wb, brb and such stuff is ok (in the OOC room) but no excessive netspeak. We sure discern between typos and typos-on-purpose and especially we go for "Not to be a native speaker is no excuse for not using a dictionary" ;D

I'm dead interested where to I have to sign my name?

Hehe - slowly slowly. First of all you should go and visit the project account to receive REALLY detailed information on everything like the continents and the rules and stuff. On the Account you will also be able to get to know how to join.
