Currently in production, City of Angels is an independent graphic novel set in a future Los Angeles during the aftermath of a devastating global crisis. Now L.A. is - for many people - the last hope of humanity, as civilization slowly rebuilds itself from its suicidal ruin. On top of the city a great tower has been built, reaching up towards the heavens. On it rests another, seemingly idyllic, city; where the wealthy thrive and the corporate elite fund research into the mysterious energy anomaly that has appeared in the sky above.

The story chronicles the activities of several characters within this city, both above and below. From greed, violence and the mounting despair of the lower classes to dark humor, mismatched romance and a desperate hope of salvation, City of Angels is full of action and intrigue.

Over the past few weeks Alex Bosch, Royce Piels and Theo Wolff have been releasing page by page of their project, free to view here on deviantART.
