Artists join deviantART to share their art and appreciate others. Due to the many artists out there, its easy to get towed under and generally obscured from the public.
Make a Difference aims to do exactly that. As there are a lot of writers who, I feel, are more underappreciated than other types of artists, Ive decided to deviate from the weekly articles made. Instead, Intense Lit will become a series within a series of articles that will hopefully make a difference to you as well as the artists featured fortnightly. Just by giving one minute of your time to write constructive comments, favourites and even watches will make a difference to these artists.

I am always interested in thoughts that will help me improve my writing. =
kersee9s literature has potent structure and a brilliant choice of words.
I am a lifelong writer, my work expresses who I am, who I want to be and the inner workings of a somewhat warped mind. Most of what I write is dedicated to my daughter and my father in the hope that they will truly know me as I am.An extract from scribbling your name"walk through the shroud
click your paper heels
and fill the pages with home..."
An extract from a risen song"...you pretentious
portent of augury
lay bare your breasts woman
i will band your mouth in gold..."
An extract from submitting oblivion"...i'm chasing
pitiful darkness with a spiked hillbilly club
and a sawtooth grin..."

I love to hear legitimate critiques on my writing so that I can improve. I am always trying to improve my work.=
warpiggg is a female artist and writer whose work is very diverse. Her style is captivating regardless of the medium.
I have studied writing for six years under the same teacher, and have absolutely loved the experience of developing my skills and broadening my horizons.
I like to experiment and generally write from the guts (not the heart, as people might think), and I like to throw people off occasionally. An extract from The Decor is very 1960's"Sitting on these damned church pews has made your arse go numb. There are several dozen people all around, in their Sunday best, with their heads bowed in prayer. Your own head, however, lolls lazily about on your be-suited shoulders, staring blatantly around the room."
An extract from The Collector"She collects men.
One by one, she casts her nets,
ensnaring prey with her promises
and forever-eyes."
An extract from The Wolf Queen"The bloom of wet spread down his chest before he hit the floor. Elspeth released her breath with a sigh and collapsed in front of him, the ceremonial war axe clattering messily to the boards beside her. It was done. She smiled wearily, and allowed herself a moment to take in the growing pool of burgundy."

I'm a classical pianist and composer seeking artistic expansion, hence why I began creative writing, photography, and digital art very recently.~
AvoNSrA deserves more recognition and opinions. His literature is very profound and atmospheric.
An extract from In Lights Failure"Darkness surrounds.
Faintest glimmers of
Light ethereal and fleeting,
Elusive as the will-o'-the-wisp
Melting into blackness."
An extract from Tanka No.16"Leaving to find lost
memories in the dusty
catacombs of past"
An extract from Here, In Dark"To wander here alone, near blind, where 'here'
No longer holds a meaning for you in
A mindful way, could bind you to the dark."

I aspire to be a legitimate writer one day, get some stuff published
~
ThomBoodys literature has great rhythm and rhyme with a tone that immediately draws you in.
A lot of the stuff I write, the themes and ideas are very universal, and can be related to by anyone, in almost any way. I like to think that I do not give my work its meaning, rather the reader does.An extract from The Curator of Dreams"Slowly and sullenly he ambles on,
searching obsessively, this curator of sorts,
stopping occasionally to ponder where he reigns supreme,
wondering what it is to dream a Dream."
An extract from A Burnt Child"His skin had melted away and replaced by the pulsating muscle underneath,
his molten flesh bubbled and popped,
and oozed out a sticky yellow fluid which fused him to his bed making them one in the same,
his face had stiffened and blackened, in fact he hardly resembled a little boy at all."
An extract from Whats in a Dream"Once again I ask myself, what is myself?
What I am to you, to he or to anybody else
Soon I shall no longer be
And just as quickly as I came into this world, I shall be torn out"

I write whatever's in my mind at any given point, so sometimes the result's silly and sometimes it's serious*
Philthey is a wonderful person whose literature impacts you in so many different ways, you are guaranteed one hell of a ride.
People don't have to leave comments or faves, I just like the thought that maybe out of all the people that pass by, one or two will read something of mine and it will touch them in some way. I mean that's why I write, well that and the fact that I have this strange need to anyway. Oh and the most important thing of all? It's funAn extract from Silent Solitude"I draw her presence around,
Luxuriating in her silent splendour,
A cloak of solitude to surround,
Me and my princess, my paramour."
An extract from The Chosen One"Where's the one who should have arisen?
Mirrored sword held aloft,
Possessed of a hear noble and true,
A keen mind that's just and fair,"
An extract from Changes "Feel him rise within!
He comes in the visions,
Wings of shadows, born of sin,
Ecstatic in my submission."
