CONTEST: “A HERO”.

What is a Hero? Show us in all the facets you want, using the art forms that you find more congenial.

A child's memory, a fictional character giving the courage to go ahead, an irresponsible person misunderstood by the world A Hero can manifest himself or herself to us in many different ways, and we all have ours. This contest bids you to show your ideal of hero, with the medium you deem appropriate: a comic's page, a written story, a sculpture, a Haiku, needle-knitting... Whatever the mean you prefer to express yourself with, let loose your Heroic spirit!!

CONTEST RULES:

Works included in the following categories are admitted in the contest:

DRAWING (pencil sketch, full illustration, single comic page, b/w, color, traditional, digital. There are no limits. In case of baloons or texts included, writings in the following languages: Italian, English, Spanish, French are admitted.)

PHOTOGRAPHY (b/w, color, traditional or digitally modified: even in this case, there are no limitations, but the photos must be of your making.)

WRITINGS (Poetry – in any metre or style- and prose. There are no limits to the lenght, but common sense will be apreciated: no serial stories! Will be admitted writings in the following languages: Italian, English, Spanish, French.)

OTHER: (all works not included in the previous categories: Sculpture, Modeling, Knitting, Cooking, Photomanipulation, Pixelart, Collage, Animation... Any mean of expression you like.)

Will choose an Ultimate Winner, a First Qualified for each category in which the Ultimate Winner is not included, and will award up to six other Special Prizes.

As a rule a Category Winner will be chosen if at least Three works will run in that category, unless the Jury decides otherwise. The Jury reserves the right to award a work even if there's only a single partecipant in its category, if strongly impressed. Otherwise, The Category Prizes in the category without winner will be awarded to the Second Qualified of the most crowded category.

HOW TO PARTECIPATE:

-Post in your Gallery the Deviation, Clearly Stating that it is running in the Contest.

-Send a Note including the link to the Running Deviation to any of the Jury members:

-At your choice, if you consider it important for the work's understanding, you can write in the comment to the Deviation motives and toughts about the choices you've made. Doing so is not requested nor mandatory.

-It is not mandatory for the running Deviation to be posted in a date subsequent to the Contest start. Any Deviation already present in your gallery that fulfils the contest requirements can be submitted freely.

-You can not partecipate with more than one work.
