Oh yes~ Yet another DA contest!
This time it’s time to draw LyricWorks mascot, Lyru-Chan!
Seeing LyricWorks revolves around music, I thought it would be great to hold a music themed contest! And this is how it goes~

You draw Lyru-Chan! Lyru-Chan is my music themed OC and the mascot for my studio LyricWorks. The idea of the contest is to pick a song, any song any language and interpret it into a picture with Lyru. For example: Say you where listening to a sad song, like the song Boats and Birds by Gregory and the Hawk, you may choose to draw Lyru sad, or longing. Whatever you choose! You must include the lyrics in the picture as well<3

Rules/Guidelines♪

There are no maxium amount of entries, but please remember, quality over quantity.

She can be drawn in a cute, sexy, serious, funny, any way you choose!

Background is allowed for sure, but of course not needed but the lyrics of the song you choose must be included in the image!

The entry can be from waist-up through knees-up to fullbodies, but no head shots please!

It must to be colored (traditionally or digitally) please!

No nudity please! Lyru-chan is a good girl! But she can be drawn in lingerie or a cute bikini<3

You can draw Lyru in her clothes, or other ones BUT! if you decide to do this, you must have her in pink with a treble clef on the shirt or somewhere in the outfiut! And include her boots! Here is a real life picture of the boots to let you see how they are<3 : [link]

You do not have to include ALL lyrics of the chosen song. It fine to use only couple of sentences from the song chosen!

When you are finished with your entry, please send me a link to the piece from your gallery in a note with the title Lyru-Chan Contest<3 Thanks!

Judging~♪ :

Round 1: Round One will be done by polls, through active watchers. There will be absolutely no favoritism in this contest what so ever. The top voted entries will then be forwarded to Round 2.

Round 2: Round Two will be judged by myself, my mother, and my real life friends. This will continue to reassure no favoritism. We will pick the top 7 and then open poll voting once more.

Round 3: Round Three is after the tally of the poll, then prizes will be awarded.


If more than 12 entries are submitted, subscription prizes will be added!
