Hello everyone and welcome to the forth of a monthly news Article which is full of art that the admin around dA have hand picked.

The idea of this is to get those unknown artists better known.
So I decided I would ask the admin in dA what art they would like to see featured . But there was a catch. Each piece of art had to 50 favs at the very most. Now I realise some of these may have a little more then that now, but at the time it was sent to me it did have 50 or less favs.

A lamp that was the artist's first metalworking project. Oil would be poured into the brass and silver barrel-shaped chamber at the top and there are two wicks. With bezel-set semi-precious gemstones of jade, onyx, and moonstone.

Hello. I am Fiona and I am one of the Stock and Resource Gallery Moderators, my purpose is to act as a go between between for the community and the core staff on dA, taking in the community's questions and concerns that are about the resource gallery. And I love it.

A little about ^orangefruits

So, my name is Will, and I'm part of the Community Relations team and specifically am the Gallery Moderator for Photography > Commercial and Photography > People & Portraits >Fashion. I try my best to promote artists from those galleries, but also anything that just catches my eye, and dA is just full of those sort of works, and so I love everyday I spend on dA.

So here is a small variety of deviations that have just filled me with the enjoyment that i grace my eyes on everyday.

^orangefruits - I have a soft-spot for black and white photography and this deviation is just perfect for that, it's full of mystery and imagination with the sinister title and the grungy style.

^orangefruits - I at once fell in love with this deviation, the cold blues and shallow focus both create movement which captures beautifully the emotion of music. Plus I love the hint of bokeh sneaking into the background.

^orangefruits - I am a large digital fan, but honestly have no idea how this sort of work is done, and really appreciate the shared imagination in a captivating piece like this

^orangefruits - I love food, and a good culinary photograph will just get right to my heart and this piece does that perfectly, I love the simplicity of the design and the perfect elegance of the food.

A little about ^wynnesome

I'm the Gallery Moderator for Artistic Nude photography. So I feature Daily Deviations, run contests, communicate information, and promote activities within the area of photography that features nude human subjects. While nudes are my own primary shooting style, I also work in and enjoy a number of other styles of photography. But it's a lot of fun in a feature like this to also get to include a couple of pieces from far outside the realm of photography at all. These are all works that I've 'd recently, and I hope more people will visit these deviations and galleries after seeing them here.

^wynnesome - I've taken some personal inspiration from the character and colors of this 3-D scene. I don't know who this character is or where this place is, but it seems he is deep in another realm that I would like to follow into and explore.

^wynnesome - Camille is becoming a better portrait and experimental photographer with every set of images she posts. And through it all, her favorite subject continues to be her beautiful and well-loved African Grey parrot, Boris.


Tempter Sent or Tempest Tossed by ~bcduncan

^wynnesome - ~bcduncans watercolor work is vivid and dynamic, but also contains great delicacy. I like the fact that a piece using so many subtle pastel tones in its palette can still portray the strength and darkness of the Raven as a subject.

^Helewidis - What I like the most about "Oil Below" is the classic framing of the events, and how we can see a story unfolding before our eyes in just one frame. This is also a good example of this deviant's excellent gallery, and an underexposed shot that deserves more attention!

^Helewidis - `arwenita's mugs are the best. The cutest and the cleanest. "Birdie says" is always there in funny or emotive situations. I'm Jeff and I'm one of the GM's responsible for the new Game Development Art gallery! My position is a bit unique as it involves seeing the actual development of a new gallery and trying to bring it up to an appropriate standard!

^ForksOfTheSalad - I've known =pearwood for quite a long time and he is an awesome photographer. I actually have two of his prints hanging in my home. This is one of his older photos but the quality is amazing. His entire gallery is filled with some great nature shots; sometimes I feel like I'm on an adventure with him!
