This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. We choose photomanipulations that have made an impression on us from the past week. We do not base our choices on preference or friendships and we have never featured ourselves. We simply pick photomanipulations showing creativity, technique and quality at the same time, and are simply eye-catching. As we are also stock artists, we will only feature the works that give proper credits to stock artists.

It's amazing how DeviantART is capable of putting together so many amazing artists, each with its own unique style -- Oh well, what's the meaning of the word "Deviant" anyway?
Therefore, I will try to expose here some beautifull sceneries found around DA. But before we continue, I should warn you about Matte Painting. You know when you look at a certain picture and "Oh Mai. Is this real"? Well, that's the exact kind of reaction digital Matte artists want from you. They use some impressive photo manipulation, 3D and painting skills to trick you into thinking that scenery actually exists. And well, In his case I just love to be deceived kekekh~
So much cool stuff, looking at them all is going to take ages. Great art on da is getting easier and easier to find. Thanks for including my pieces! It's an honor to be included in a list that includes the works of the masters.
Oh, the description for some of them says they're actually speedpaints ¬___________¬
I mean cmon, I'd take the whole year to do something like that... T_T
But most of these techniques use real photos on the process for texture, etc... Seems a bit easier (if its possible for this kind of work to be easy xD) than painting it all "manually"
yea~ well as long as the photograph is copyrighted to you, then i guess it's okay....because it is WAYYY easier to use texture and collab with ur art than you actually draw it....
speedpaint....lol...this is a monster word to be used on those arts....i think those artists is so used to drawing that they can do it very very quick.....but still...unbelievable....

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
