Santa's Workshop 2009: elves needed

reports, November 18Welcome to the 2nd annual Santa's Workshop.
What is it? Well, to spread some christmas joy and cheer, I've decided to open up a "Santa's workshop." As you all may know, Santa is a very busy man and we, as his ever loyal elves, have decided to put on ourselves part of the responsiblity and out of the goodness of our heart will do our best to please (300) good little children this year.
AS of right now, we are ONLYlooking for 150 hardworking elves.
Potential children participants will have to wait until children application.

ART AGAINST RACISM Project 2009 -- The Entries!

reports, July 31I started this project on June 30th and wanted to put a sign with it!
Art is a wonderful way to communicate and so I thought this project would be a nice idea to let all the dApeople show how they interpret this disagreeable topic.
Racism is something we should "fight" against, cause there`s always a better way to go through things than mistreating or harrasing people.
Since we are living on this planet it exists and there were great people who wanted to stop this thinking. Unfortunately it hasn`t worked all the time...

"Imagine all the people living life in peace" by John Lennon
"Racism is man's gravest threat to man - the maximum hatred for a minimum reason." by Abraham J. Heschel
"I have a dream today... We cannot walk alone." by Martin L. King, Jr.
"An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind." by Gandhi
Now one month later I received over 30 wonderful entries (I thought it will get more) and it`s time to show them off to you.
I wanna thank you all and I really enjoyed your support and sharing your thoughts with all of us! THANK YOU for this great time!
