~Amertie and =GwenavhyeurAnastasia are running and judging a literature contest this month. ~pardonM3 is the third judge.

There is both a prose and a poetry category. Prosetry is also welcome.
The judges will decide which category a prosetry piece may fit into upon submission.
If you are unsure of the category into which your piece fits, just note it to either ~Amertie or =GwenavhyeurAnastasia.

All prose submissions are to be noted to =GwenavhyeurAnastasia. Please remember that all prose submissions must be under 1000 words.
Note all poetry submissions to ~Amertie. Please keep all poetry submissions under 500 words.

The contest opens for entries today. It will end around September 19th, allowing for five weeks to write a great piece.
Judging will take around two weeks to complete.

Theme –
Write a piece [poetry, prose, or prosetry] that involves the theme of God.

The piece may be anything about any God, including, but not limited to: a day in the life of God, how God does not exist, or what meeting God for the first time may be like. The only topic not allowed is hate art about any religion.

Criteria -
All entries will be judged based on the following criteria:
Grammar.
Creativity.
Originality.
General awesomeness.

During the five weeks in which the contest takes place, all participants have the opportunity to revise their works.

~Amertie and =GwenavhyeurAnastasia will be checking all entries for spelling upon entry. We will reply to all notes of submission, and tell you in that note whether you have any spelling mistakes. This is all we judges will notify you to fix.

We ask that the participants browse through the other submissions and critique the work of others. This is, of course, not necessary. But it is a great opportunity to foster critique among the literature community. :]
