'Fabulously Ominous New Dark / Light Extravaganza' (F.O.N.D.L.E!) contest!

Hey all! I hope you're ready for an awesome contest that has taken a while of planning and using our brains (we had to wipe off all the dust first, though)!

You're probably either laughing or shaking your head at the name - it was not intentional ...well it was, but that's beside the point!
Welcome to our contest, fondly known as F.O.N.D.L.E!

This contest is my (=magenta-territory's) baby and basic brainchild, and I got =Teine-tor roped in to help with creative’s
At the moment, the only prizes are features. However! Do not despair; there is nothing wrong with features - especially when the features are from fantastic artists!

AND BONUS! In the future, bigger prizes will be given in a contest for the winners of this one (more info later).

This contest has two categories, with three prizes up for grabs in each. This means that there are a total of SIX prizes to be won and double the chance of winning.

A FEW FAQ ANSWERED HERE:
All art forms allowed (literature most welcome)
Only one entry into each category allowed (quality, not quantity people)
New and old art allowed (please try have something in the description about the contest - it's not compulsory, but would help)
You are allowed to enter both categories, and, if your entries are good enough, you can win something in both categories (however, I'm sorry to say it is not likely... but it is possible)
A bit of mature content is welcome

_{On the mature content note, I do love artistic nudes, and will accept them. If, however, I feel they are too pornographic and do not fall into the 'artistic nude' category, I will not accept them. I know it is a rather fine line, and if you want to know if your works will be accepted, note me; or check out some of `Gwarf's works. I love them.}

THEMES:
As you read, there are two themes / categories. They go hand in hand with one another, but please make sure your entry is relevant to the category subject / theme.
The two categories will be judged by different people and in an essence, they are like two separate contests.

CATEGORIES:
'Dark' - e.g. stalker (a personal favourite of =Teine-tor), macabre / horror, lack of light...
'Light' - e.g. literal light, angels, physically light...

NOTE me (not any of the judges please - they are there to judge, not to collect entries) with the thumbnail(s) of your entry(ies) - I might miss entries if they are left in a comment. Please also state which category the entry falls into.

DATES:
Start: 23^rd August (special day - my birthday!)
Closing date: 17^th September
Winners announcement: 23^rd September (another special day - a certain someone’s birthday!)

There will be prizes for the top three entries in both categories. The prizes will be the same for both categories.

JUDGES:
The judges have been separated into the two categories. They will only be judging these categories. They will take a look at the entries in the relevant category and pick their top three - voting will occur between the judges until final winners are chosen.

_{P.S. After the contest is finished, there will be another UBER contest held in relation to this one.
The three winners from both categories will have a 'face off'.
There will be more information to come about the details, however, you can only enter if you form the three winners in each category from this contest.
In this contest, the 'general public' will get to vote on a poll for the winners.
