Here's a fun little contest for the folks who play, or have played pokemon! That's right chums, it's time to geek out.

We've all had that one favorite pokemon in our team--you know, the one that somehow always managed to stay a few levels higher than the others even when you tried to keep it even, the one you show off to all your chums, or that you were so happy to have because it was always your favorite pokemon.

Well, in this contest, I want to see you draw that favorite pokemon with you as its trainer.

Rules
Now, the most important part--is that you draw the pokemon in a way/style that's entirely unique to you! I don't want to see pokemon drawn in the exact same way as it is drawn by the actual pokemon franchise--be creative with it! Take your own perception to the design, But make sure it's still recognizable.

You as the trainer must also be included in the image, but you can take as many liberties with your own design as you wish.
Just make a really cool drawing of you and the best/favorite pokemon from your team.

The pokemon you choose must exist from your latest team from an existing game. Hacks are permitted, but keep in mind, I will not be judging based on how rare/epic your choice pokemon is.

Judging will be based on how well you incorporate the pokemon in your own, unique style.

Make certain you send me a Note with your entry--otherwise I may not receive it.


Prize!:
This contest will be over on October 1st. On that day, I will put up a poll with every entry. After a week of voting, I will take the three most popular-by-vote pieces and will pick one winner of the three.

For the first prize, I will try my own hand at painting the winner and their chosen Pokemon :]
The two runner ups will receive a sketch of them and their chosen pokemon.
