Sara Baker, aka

was in a car accident in 2007 which left her 'locked-in,' a state of full body paralysis where she retains complete mental function. In the last two years, I've been helping to run fundraisers to help with her care and living expenses.
The goal for the current fundraiser was to raise $2500 by Septemeber 1st. for the Sara Baker Trust Fund. Although we have fallen short of this goal, I am going to continue the fundraiser until we can hit our mark. A
recent post from Sara's mom illustrates just how much our donations are helping.
In light of this, an anonymous donor has stepped forward to offer the following challenge:
From now until Sept 13 (that's 10 days!) this anonymous donor will MATCH all direct donations made to the Fund up to $250! So for every dollar YOU can donate, Sara's fund will get $2! Together we can raise $500 in just a few days to help!
Can you participate in the match? Even if you cannot donate at this time, please fav the news articles and pass it along in your journal! The more people who know, the more help we can get! A huge thank you to those deviants who continue to champion this cause.
Donations can be sent to PayPal donate@sarascourage.org (please select the Personal tab and check 'Gift' for the type of transfer)
Or snail mailed to:

My
main page has a tally of the funds raised and a list of artists who are helping. Please let me know if you make a donation for the match so I can keep track and add it to the tally. All the money goes directly to Sara and her family; I do not have access to the account.

WARNING: I give lots of random hugs.
I randomly browse people's galleries and give them love. Beware, you might be next.
Idiots and ignorance: irritating, annoying, fun to play around with for lulz. Just don't catch the disease.
