The Grass Contest !



About the Contest: (Please Read !)


The Contest is aimed at the category of Grass. Anything under this category will basically be acceptable. It could be green grass, brown grass, blue grass, whatever!

It must Focus on grass though this means we will NOT accept a picture with just a little grass at the bottom, or one that has little grass in the photo and the rest is something else

The great part about this contest is that we are teaming up with 3 members ! Although this is 's official contest, but , , and are also holding it !!


What Will be Accepted:


Any Medium will be accepted.
Main focus must be on grass.
You could have Water droplets, insects, or something like that on grass if you wanted.
It doesnt have to be "macro". Your picture can be a landscape_{(with lots of grass of course)}, or anything else ! Even drawings are allowed !


Contest Guidelines/Rules:


You Must be a member of =SkyAndNatureClub Click here to know how to join!

Your work Must be uploaded to your gallery after Jan 1, 2009 _{(2009 Images only)}

Any visual medium is acceptable.

No (Artistic) Nude or any other explicit images. _{Main focus Must Be on Grass}

You Must have a link to the Journal and/or News Article in your entry's comments box. Entries will be ignored otherwise.

B&W, HDR, or adding textures are acceptable.

Up to 2 Entries allowed per person, but you can only win with 1 image!

Contest Deadline is October 15, 2009 at Midnight EST.

Please think carefully before sending an entry! You wont be able to change the entries you submit !



How to Enter:

Send a Note to =SkyAndNatureClub entitled "Grass Contest Entry 1/2" (Replace 1/2 with the submission number 1 or 2) with the THUMB of the image.

We will NOT accept your entries if you don't put the thumb ! (To Find out how to add a thumb read below)

It will then be added to a collection located here.

Whats Not Allowed:

- Main focus is not Nature-related or grass.
- Only a little grass is included.



The judges:





How to add thumbs in the note:

Open the deviation from your gallery.
On the right hand side under the deviation, you will notice a box with 'Thumb' above it.
Copy the code which is in the box and paste that into the note where you normally type.


At the end ..

What we are basically looking for is something original and new, something never seen before!!! Bring us that, and you may just win! Please let us know if you can give any prize, ANYTHING, free or paid. It really will mean a lot, Thanks in advance!
