reports, February 1, 2003I'm gonna be teaching an afterschool art program for highschool punk-ass kids starting on February 24th, in San Francisco. The focus is going to be illustration techniques...handling paint, shortcuts, composition, etc. The program will last a month, and at the end we're gonna close it out with an art show for the kids.
If you’ve ever been caught drawing in class then come check this out. Local illustration/zine/comix/commercial artist Wayshak is teaching Art and Illustration Techniques at CELLspace Mondays 4-6pm for 5 weeks beginning February 24 ending March 24. Each session we will complete in-class drawing exercises, learn new techniques to get that effect you’re looking for, and critique the work we create. Bring your own pens, pencils, acrylic paints, brushes, etc. We will also have some art supplies to share. At the end of the 5 weeks we’ll have a show of our best work. The cost for the 5 week course is $20/student.
